I would like to be in a position to say that Player Registration is going well, and with the 2,000th player being added last evening, many might say that it is. The truth is somewhat different. Eleven clubs have yet to register a single player, while another five have not registered enough to even field a team.
The eleven teams who are being tardy beyond any reasonable levels are: Bardwell; Brockley; DBSL; Eight Ash Green; Eye & District; Saffron Walden Ladies; Shotley Peninsula Ladies; Sudbourne Hall; Thriplow Ladies; Walsham le Willows; and Wivenhoe Town.
The five who have not registered enough for one team are: Stradbroke (9 registered); Tuddenham (5 registered); East Bergholt (3 registered), and St. Osyth and Stowupland (each with 1 registered).

This is also not helping where players are changing clubs from or to these clubs as their new clubs cannot or have not registered them, and it could mean that when the season starts in two weeks time many players will be ineligible to play due to their registrations being incomplete. Frankly there is no logical or acceptable reason why clubs are late getting on with it.

Also teams are now free to register any new players they have joining them for this season.
