The League Management Committee has granted a request from Woodbridge Cricket Club to withdraw their team from Division Four, and play with just one team participating in Division Nine East.
This decision was reached after consultations with Woodbridge officials, who stated that the vast majority of their first team from last season was departing for pastures new this summer. They have recruited a number of players who had played for the now withdrawn, Yoxford 2nd XI. So their strength this summer will be greatly reduced, and it was felt that Division Nine will be much more the correct level for this team, and gives the club more chance of sustaining cricket into the future.
Accordingly therefore only one team will be relegated from Division Four at the end of the season.
