Several clubs have asked asked for clarification regarding the above. The promotion and relegation slots have been on play-cricket for some time but attached below is an update for all clubs.
Sam Hall has been disciplined for a Level 1 offence and is therefore banned from all cricket for one week from Saturday 2nd August – he can play again on Saturday 9th August. All Level 1 and Level 2 Disciplinary Actions are not subject to Appeal.
Steve Lorans has had 4 weeks of his 10 week ban suspended and Real Oddies also had their points reduction reduced by 50%. Kiritto still has a 10 week ban as in my previous posting…… Apologies to all concerned….
Re: Steve Lorans of Real Oddies Cricket Club and Kiritto Sebamalaimuthu of Kirby Cricket Club.
The appeals panel have upheld the original disciplinary panel decision. Therefore the original 10 week ban is reinstated with immediate effect less any games already served.
In the match between Colchester and East Essex and West Mersea in Division 9, Srimal Mudiyanselage scored a brisk 123 off only 37 balls! Reminds me a bit of me in my prime (in my dreams of course!). Well done!
Most of the posts recently have been pretty negative and about discipline so it’s good to report something positive …….. In the Division 6 match between Ipscol and Kesgrave, Kishor Sadhak took a hat trick in one over and then a hat trick in his next over! This has had statisticians rushing around to see if it has ever happened before to no avail at the moment. He returned overall figures of 6 for 21. I guess he has cemented his place for the next few games!!
