All of the 2025 Championship Reps have now been sent Contact information forms for the 2026 season, It is imperative these are returned by the 20th February deadline.

Just in case any of you missed the AGM, we would like to just take this opportunity to inform you that after many years of excellent service, both Rick and Tex have retired from Two Counties business and are no longer members of the MSC, Scott Button has taken over as Secretary, with Joe Smith as Assistant Secretary. 

Scott can be contacted on the usual Secretary email address.

It is impossible to please all of the clubs all of the time but the attached represents the best option considering all parameters.   Also attached is a letter from the fixtures secretary asking for action from clubs with issues of ground availability during season 2026.  Please act on this NOW…..  For your information the 22 week season 2026 will start on Saturday 18th April and end on 12th September

A copy of the rule changes proposed by clubs (as below) has been sent out by Scott Button to all Championship Reps.  Please deal with this ASAP as the MSC are meeting next week to discuss rule changes and your input will be considered.  One completed form only per club please and it is better to do so via your Championship Rep – nil returns will assume you are happy with the status quo

Finals Day!  The itinerary is as follows:

11am Hatfield Peverel v Great Waltham and then
3pm Halstead v Mistley – and additional good news is that Halstead  CC have a Beer Festival on that day!

Apart from Division 1 all matches in other divisions start at 12.30 from 16th August.  My apologies for not posting this earlier…….  From 1^st September all matches with panel umpires shall start not later than 12.00pm except in Div. 1 where the start time will be 1130am.

All clubs are reminded that suggestions for any rule changes should be submitted in writing to the MSC by the 1st September.

Tory Hughes of Easton CC has been invited and accepted the role of Women’s  Cricket Coordinator.  The MSC are delighted to have her on board leading this important role.  Her position will be ratified at the next AGM.  Welcome aboard Tory!!
